Business was brought to a standstill this morning at Mpondabwino market in Zomba following misunderstandings that erupted between vendors plying their trade inside the market and those outside the market.
Vendors from inside the market are accusing those selling merchandise outside of contributing to the low turn up of customers inside the market.
However, those selling outside the market claim there is no space inside adding that when they enter to do their business inside the market they are also chased away.
Meanwhile vendors doing business outside the market have stormed Zomba city council offices to seek authorities intervention on the matter.
