National Youth Director for the ruling Democratic Progressive Party Dyton Mussa has rebuffed the rigging allegations by Malawi Congress Party (MCP) youth.
MCP youth who are known as Kokoliko Movement and their counterpart UTM youth professionals during a press briefing in Lilongwe outlined alleged rigging plans by DPP in the forthcoming fresh presidential election.
They claim that Mutharika has acquired a gadget Virtual Private Network (VPN) to intercept electoral results at the Statehouse.
One of the speakers at the briefing, Daudi Suleman said they know all the plots by DPP to rig the next elections by registering minors.
Suleman added that the employment of new National Registration Bureau (NRB) boss Macford Somanje is there to help deter registration figures in the NRB database for DPP’s advantage.
Cautioning Suleman and Anthony Bendulo, Mussa said Mutharika is not their size hence writing to him is pointless.
Mussa added that the equivalent of Suleiman and Bendulo in the DPP is not even him but his deputy.
He added that DPP and UDF don’t have plans to rig the elections because it is popular on the ground.
