The Malawi Defence Force (MDF) has disclosed that it is investigating people who were flying a drone over the army campsite at Chichiri in Blantyre on Monday.
MDF Spokesperson, Major Paul Chiphwanya confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).
According to Chiphwanya, the soldiers at the camp detained the drone to find out the intention as the area is considered a high security place.
Owner of the drone,Ben Kanyizira,declined to shed more light saying the matter was being probed by the MDF.
