Patel Yasin, captain for Mpingwe Sports Club Blue (MSC Blue) has said that he is optimistic that his team will do better in the games despite losing to (MSC White) Sunday.
He said the tournament has started and there are many teams to play against where he thinks the players will improve on their shortfalls and do better.
“We have good players that are working hard and they will make a gallant fight so that we should emerge winners at the end of it all,” he said.
MSC Blue lost by 90 runs to 91 runs from MSC White and they won their opening game against MSC Red by 108 runs to 107 runs.
There are about twenty teams that will compete in the tournament and some of them are MSC Orange, Silver, Gray, White and Green just to mention a few.
