Society of Medical Doctors has asked government to follow up and possibly test again at least the first 100 people that were tested for Coronavirus.

President for the society Dr, Amos Nyaka said the reason is to be clear of the cases the country might have had since they all tested negative.

He argues that their call is premised on the fact that the first case of the coronavirus tested negative before the country started testing using another set of testing reagents,it’s doubtful as to whether those tested earlier are fine.

President Peter Mutharika has assured the general public that more measures will be imposed to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Yesterday, Mutharika confirmed three cases of Coronavirus when he addressed the nation on the matter.

In the 1 minute and few seconds speech, Mutharika disclosed that those tested positive for the virus are two Malawians of Indian origin and a Malawian.
