Following the confirmation that the country has recorded 3 cases of Coronavirus, trackers have been deployed to trail contacts of three people who have tested positive in Lilongwe.

Yesterday President Peter Mutharika announced of the infections when he was addressing the nation.

According to Mutharika, the cases involve a 61 year old woman who recently traveled to India, her relative and a domestic worker.

The president is expected to give details on the government’s further response to the situation.
