Leader of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) prophet Shepherd Bushiri has urged his followers to pay offering via the church’s banks account due to the negative impact coronavirus has caused.
In a video face of Malawi has seen, Bushiri asked his followers not to let the devil defeat them by not doing the word of God which include paying to the House of God.
The youthful man of God, advised his congregants not to mind what people will say regarding the message of paying offering, tithe, seeds etc.
Due to the deadly Coronavirus almost all countries around the globe have declared state of disasters and ban gathering of more people including church services.
In order to continue engaging with their followers, pastors and prophets have resorted to online church services.
However, the move by some men of God such as Bushiri, has not been received by other people who described the move as ill-timed.
“Most people are not working, no businesses due to lockdown that has been imposed therefore people do not have money it is very unfortunate that the so called men of God are the ones putting more burden to people who needs their help most,”
