The Malawi Red Cross has received 200 million Kwacha from their development partners for coronavirus interventions in the country.
Head of Health Services at Red Cross Dan Banda said they will put buckets with soap in several areas across the country and their volunteers will be deployed in these areas to make sure each and every person is washing hands.
According to Banda, their volunteers will also be going door to door in villages to reach out to villagers with the right information coronavirus and how they can prevent it.
Meanwhile, Malawi has registered 7 cases with 1 death as of today.
