Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) has asked government to consider of creating an inclusive committee to lead in the fight against Covid-19.

The call has been made this morning in Lilongwe during a press briefing.

According to HRDC member Reverend Mac Donald Sembereka, government should include opposition leaders, Non-Government Organization (NGOs) and health experts to make it abroad babsed and national representative.

HRDC chair Gift Trapence has cautioned president Peter Mutharika to involve parliament and other quarters in making some decisions that affect the nation amid the Covid-19 crisis.

According to Trapence, Malawi is not a person estate.
