Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Rumphi Central Macdowel Chidumba Mkandawire has dumped the party and joined the main opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Faceofmalawi can reveal.
Chidumba Mkandawire won the seat on Independent ticket after outclassing Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) President Enock Chihana.
In September last year Chidumba Mkandawire joined the ruling DPP.
