Catholic church has suspended Way to the Cross on Good Friday as a way to counter the spread of corona virus through social distance.
According to the organizers, the event that attracts Christians from Catholic church and Anglican church will not take place due to the pandemic.
“We will not be on the road as is the tradition but christian should follow the event through their radio,” said Elias Sauli, organizer.
A way of the Cross on Good Friday is a religious tradition depicting the sufferings and consequent crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Many denominations across the world, commemorate the day.
