Former Association of Person with Albinism in Malawi (APAM) president Overstone Kondowe has been nominated to receive the Doctor of Humanities (Honoris Causa) from the Academic Council of the Commonwealth University
Kondowe has been acknowledged for his distinguished contributions as the Director of Association of Persons with Albinism in Malawi and in recognition of extraordinary service to persons with albinism in Malawi.
Kondowe served as APAM president before being succeeded by Ian Simbota.
