Two people have died after the vehicle they were traveling in overturned following a front tyre burst in Dedza last night.
Dedza Police Spokesperson Edward Kabango confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the deceased as Daniel Nthamanda,and Chrispin Chilembwe.
According to Kabango, one of the deceased is a police officer who was based at Linthipe police station in the district.
Kabango said the accident happened after one of the front tyres of the vehicle bust causing the vehicle to overturn.
The two were travelling in a Toyota Vista saloon vehicle registration number SA 8045.
