Nankhumwa’s bodyguard killed in road accident

Death has been announced of a bodyguard to Minister of Foreign Affair and International Cooperation Kondwani Nankhumwa.
The bodyguard identified as Sub/Inspector Elias Yalu died in road accident on Tuesday in the capital Lilongwe, Faceofmalawi can reveal.
Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) Police spokesperson Sapulani Chitonde confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Chitonde, Yalu died after his car he was travelling in collided with truck in Lumbazi.
Yalu will be laid to rest at his home village at Ndamela in Nsanje.
