Chaos as vendors protest 21 days lockdown in Limbe

Police in Limbe have fired teargas to disperse angry vendors protesting the 21 days lockdown ordered by President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika on Tuesday night.

The vendors blocked the road with burning tyres and tree branches. Some were chanting anti-lockdown songs.

The vendors say they do not want lockdown in Blantyre.
