In an appalling case reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, a Class tenth student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in a room on the second floor of her house in the city’s Sadar area.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot and took the deceased girl’s body under their possession and sent it for conducting post mortem.

Moreover, the police also recovered a suicide note purportedly penned down by the now-deceased girl levelling shocking allegations against her father.

In her suicide note, the girl mentioned that she aspired to become a police officer to take revenge on her father. Reportedly, the deceased girl was the daughter of Amar Singh with his second wife.

He married her nearly 25 years ago when his first wife and three children got killed in a fire.  Upon their death, accusations of murder were levelled against Singh but the case got settled.

Later, he married another woman and fathered three children with her including a son and two daughters (including the now-deceased girl).

The three children and their mother were allegedly victims of domestic violence at the hands of Singh. Moreover, he frequently organised alcohol parties at their house for his friends and distant relatives. Drunken brawls and domestic violence became a common event in the house.

According to a news report of News 18, the now-deceased girl was allegedly beaten up by her alcohol-addicted father on the day of the incident.

After getting physically assaulted by her father, she went to a room on the second floor of her house and hanged herself to death. In her suicide note, she mentioned that she was very upset over the state of affairs of her house and had lost all hopes to live due to the family feud which had smouldered on for years.

The deceased girl’s father was detained by the police and investigation into the case is underway.
