A Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Councillor for Mulanje Bhale has joined United Transformation Movement (UTM) led by vice president Saulos Chilima.
When joining the party, Nettie Namaona cited lack of leadership in the ruling DPP as the main reason prompted her to leave the party.
Namaona added that poor leadership in the DPP government is also the main reason Malawians are in extreme poverty up to date.
“People re dying of hunger, no essential facilities in public hospitals while those in authority are driving very expensive cars,” cries Namaona.
