Total Malawi has donated fuel worth K5 000 000 to the Ministry of Disaster Management Affairs to ease transport challenges amongst frontline health personnel.
Regional Sales Manager for Total Malawi, Abel Yellewa said the donation comes in response to the K157 billion national response and preparedness plan on the pandemic.
According to Yellewa, the support is part of their corporate social responsibility as a key player in the energy sector.
The national response and preparedness plan has ten clusters including health, communication, protection and enforcement.
