Bars and drinking joints defy closure order by City Council

In Area 25, Lilongwe, most of bars and drinking joints were open over the weekend regardless of the prevention measured of Covid 19.
Weeks ago, Lilongwe City Council (LCC) ordered the closure of all drinking joints in the city and banned all parties including birthday parties due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Malawi has registered 17 cases of corona virus with 2 deaths and three recoveries.
