An education commentator spells doom for the country’s education sector following the closure of schools due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Questions are being raised on how the government will ensure that learning is not disrupted, especially among students expected to sit for their final national exams.
While some private schools have resorted to e-learning, state owned schools are yet to do the same.
Executive Director of the Civil Society Education Coalition Benedicto Kondowe predicts a rise in school dropouts this year, if no action is taken.
