The ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has fired warning shots at its youth cadets who are demanding for the immediate firing of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s Chief of Security Norman Chisale.
DPP cadets led by Mike Chitenje, popularly known as Bangwe 1 are demanding for the immediate firing of Chisale.
In a video clip circulating on the social media, Chitenje together with Stone Mwamadi and others accuse Chisale of being greedy person who does not listen to the concerns of some party supporters.
In a letter dated April 20, 2020, DPP Secretary General Grezeldar Jeffrey has warned the cadets to stop fighting Chisale or risk being expelled from the party.
