According to a recent development, the 16-year-old girl who killed herself in Agra, Uttar Pradesh last week was asked to murder her mother and siblings by her uncle.

The incident took place at the girl’s residence in Shanti Nagar, Devri Road which falls under the limits of the Sadar police station.

A video of the entire incident also went viral on social media. The girl also wrote a four-page suicide note before taking the drastic step, in which she mentioned her plight.

In the video of the incident, the girl can be seen saying that her uncle handed over a country-made pistol to her and asked her to shoot her mother and two siblings.

However, instead of killing her family members, the girl took the decision of ending her own life. The girl placed the suicide note below the “tamancha” that had been given to her by her uncle.

The girl also claimed that her mother and her siblings were subjected to domestic violence by her uncle, father and cousin.

The incident came to light on April 16 when the girl’s body was found hanging in her room. After the police learned about the incident, they reached the spot and arrested the girl’s father.

The girl’s father has been booked for abetment to suicide. The other accused- the deceased’s uncle and cousin are on the run. The police told The Times of India that they will investigate all the allegations made by the 16-year-old girl and take prompt action against the accused.

In her suicide note, the girl penned down her plight and wrote that she wanted to live and aspired to be a police officer so that she could bring her mother and siblings to justice.

The girl wrote,

“But I’m ending my life, as I’m tired now. We, all four, are mentally tortured and harassed on a daily basis by my father, two uncles and cousin over property. “

In the suicide note, the girl also wrote that her father murdered his first wife, their four children, including a foetus.

The girl mentioned that her uncle has been to jail in the past. The suicide note read, “They molested me and did wrong things. They all must be given stringent punishment after my death. “
