The National Registration Bureau (NRB) has said it needs over K50 million for monitoring and supervision during the registration exercise for National Identity Cards in the country.
NRB Spokesperson Norman Fulatira has confirmed the development.
Fulatira, said over 100 registration officers have been deployed across the country for the registration exercise in centres that have been opened in some wards.
As the second phase for the voter registration exercise by the Malawi Electoral Commission-MEC is under way, a center per ward has been opened where those without the National IDs are also registration.
