State House has dismissed reports making rounds on social media platforms regarding President Peter Mutharika’s health and well-being.
According to Presidential spokesperson Mgeme Kalirani, the rumors are not true as the president is very much alive and working in his office.
Kalilani added that the head of state shall be meeting a Public Affairs Committee delegation tomorrow Wednesday April 29, 2020.
Facebook and other social media platforms were carried with rumors that Mutharika is not well as he is battling for life.
The speculations of the president’s well being follows the absence of the president from the public for quite some time now.
