Late Monsignor Professor Joseph Chakanza of Chikwawa Diocese will be laid to rest today in Chikwawa, Faceofmalawi can reveal.
Father Chakanza died on Sunday at St. Montfort hospital on Sunday after a long illness.
The body of Father Chakanza left for Chikwawa after been blessed at CI parish in the Archdiocese of Blantyre this morning.
The burial mass is currently underway and is being presided over by Archbishop Thomas Luke Msusa of the Archdiocese of Blantyre along with side Bishop of the Diocese of Chikwawa and other priests.
