Blantyre District Health Office (DHO) has said it is tracing people who came in contact with a recent Covid-19 case who tested positive on April 26.
The 47 year man tested positive eight day after he entered the country from Tanzania using n IT Transit an IT private vehicle.
The Chileka based man is said to have first traveled to Salima on the day of his arrival where he spent three days before coming to Blantyre.
According to the Blantyre DHO Director of Health and Social Services Dr. Gift Kawalazira, The Covid-19 patient boarded a Matours bus from Salima at around 2:30pm, the Bus was coming from Mzuzu to Blantyre.
The Blantyre DHO is therefore calling upon all people who traveled using that bus to contact their nearest health facility for follow up and advice.
