Death has been announced of District Commissioner for Mzimba (Mbelwa) District Council, Thomas Chirwa.
Chirwa died in the afternoon hours of 29th April 2019 at Mwaiwathu Hospital in Blantyre after a long illness.
Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development confirmed of the development in a statement posted on its official facebook page.
According to information at hand, Chirwa died of stroke.
Meanwhile funeral details are still sketchy.
