Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC) Chairperson Gift Trapence has been involved in road along Zalewa road in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Trapence confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying he was together with his wife and son during the accident.
According to Trapence, the vehicle overturned three times.
He said his wife is complaining of neck pains whilst his 11 year-old son is experiencing back pains.
Meanwhile the three are receiving treatment at the hospital in Blantyre.
