United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Saulos Chilima has encouraged his supporters to create a powerful stronghold in their hearts.
Chilima said this on Monday morning during a press briefing in Lilongwe at UTM headquarters in area 10.
According to Chilima, UTM supporters should not be intimidated by any terror of violence from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and its bedfellow United Democratic Front (UDF).
“Our stronghold is in the hearts of well meaning Malawians” Chilima said.
Chilima added that the violence and intimidation allegedly perpetrated by the governing DPP is a form of vote rigging.
He has since challenged President Peter Mutharika to stop the malpractice.
