Independent Presidential Candidate Ras David Chikomeni Chirwa will present his nomination papers to the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) on Wednesday afternoon.
This is according to MEC program of receiving nomination papers made available to Faceofmalawi.
The ceremony, which will take place at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre on 6th and 7th May, 2020, shows that nine candidates will present their papers.
According to MEC, the first day will see five Presidential candidates presenting their nomination papers ahead of the fresh Presidential polls.
Ras Chikomeni will the third candidate to Present nomination papers and is scheduled to arrive at Mount Soche Hotel at 2pm.
In the nullified May 21, 2019 Presidential polls, Ras David Chikomeni Chirwa who picked her mother as his runningmate was disqualified for failing to meet some of the requirements.
Ras Chikomeni Chirwa failed to raise Mk1 million nomination fees and also failed to solicit 10 signatures from nominees from 10 districts.
Meanwhile it is not yet known as whether Ras David Chikomeni Chirwa has raised the MK2 million nomination fees set by MEC in the fresh Presidential polls.
