Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his bedfellow United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dr. Saulos Chilima are at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre to present nomination papers to Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).
According to unconfirmed reports, Chakwera will represent the grand alliance of the MCP-UTM and Chilima will be the runningmate.
Some of the notable faces are Sidik Mia, Michael Usi, Patricia Kaliati, Secretary General for UTM, Mr. Mkaka, Secretary General for MCP.
