United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Saulos Chilima has said that Tonse Alliance which has been formed by at least nine parties will not tolerate confusion.
Chilima who is also the state vice president said this today in Lilongwe at a breakfast and prayer ceremony.
According to Chilima the alliance will win the forthcoming fresh presidential elections slated for July 2 this year.
Chilima who is also Malawi Congress Party’s (MCP) president Lazarus Chakwera’s running-mate promised that they will continue working together for the benefit of Malawians.
In his remarks, Tonse Alliance leader Lazarus Chakwera hinted that today’s prayers were meant for the clergy to pray for them before they begin campaigning.
Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) launched an official campaign on Saturday last week.
