President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has dropped Everton Chimulirenji as his runningmate ahead of the fresh Presidential polls scheduled for July 2, 2020.
The development means Atupele Muluzi, President of the United Democratic Front (UDF) who is in alliance with the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
Chimulirenji has already arrived at Mount Soche where President Mutharika is expected to deliver his nomination papers to Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).
