Independent Presidential candidate Smart Swira set to present nomination papers to MEC

Independent Presidential Candidate Smart Swira is set to present nomination papers to Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) ahead of the fresh Presidential polls scheduled for July 2, 2020.
Swira has arrived at Mount Soche in Blantyre without his runningmate to the surprise of MEC officials.
Mr. Swira also attempted to contest last year but was disqualified for not paying MK1 million.
