NIGERIA – A man identified as Nuhu Musa, has been arrested for allegedly forging bail documents.
Local press i Nigeria learnt that Musa was recently arrested by the Kaduna Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
His crime was forging a Certificate of Occupancy to secure the bail of one Bidemi Olorunlere, who ran into trouble for allegedly obtaining the sum of N5,700,000 (Five Million Seven Hundred Naira only) by false pretences.
His criminal schemes fell flat when the Certificate of Occupancy he presented, was sent to Kaduna Geographical Information Service for verification and was found to be forged.
