Consumers Association of Malawi (CAMA) has asked Television Service Provider Multichoice Malawi to reduce its tariffs following the suspension of live programs.
CAMA Executive Director John Kapito has confirmed writing the company on the matter.
According to Kapito that there is no need for consumers to pay for services that are not being provided.
For instance, the provider is not beaming football matches following the cancellation of all leagues in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
Multichoice Malawi is yet to comment on letter.
