Five new cases of the novel Coronavirus have confirmed today in the country bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 63.
According to the minister of Health Jappie Mhango the case are from Nkhata Bay, one from Lilongwe and one from Thyolo.
As it stands, Lilongwe has 23, Blantyre has 26 while Thyolo has 9 cases. Karonga, Chikwawa, Zomba and Nkhotakota have one case each.
The five cases have been confirmed within the past 24 hours at 3 laboratories in Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre.
