Gospel singer Estiner Katengeza, who is currently in Japan pursuing further studies, has released a single titled ‘I am Right There’.Katengeza said despite being pre-occupied with studies, she still finds time to work on music.

The singer recorded her first single in Japan in March.

The song was produced by DJ ReddRokk at Everett Mapp.

“I am happy that I have managed to record a single here. I have been silent but God is faithful such that I have finally managed to work on a single. I am looking forward to doing more,” Katengeza said.

The lyrical video for the song premiered Thursday on YouTube.

“The song is already available on ITunes and Apple Music. It will come soon on Spotify, Amazon, Google Play and other online platforms,” Katengeza said.

She said she was happy to premiere the song on the day as it was her mother’s birthday.

“This song is inspired by God’s omnipresence even if/ when we can’t seem to see/ feel/taste. I hope people will enjoy the track,” she said on her Facebook page.

The creator of the song ‘Zilibwino’ which happens to be the title track of her debut album, said she has also managed to put some of her songs on international online platforms for people to easily access them.

The gospel singer has two albums to her credit Zilibwino and Ndamasulidwa.

Meanwhile, Katengeza, said she is set to perform at the annual Malawi –Japan forum whose date will be announced later.

“At the moment the date for the Malawi/Japan forum is not yet known due to Covid-19 fears. But I will be performing there alongside Roy K of the ‘Amupeza’ fame, who is also studying here,” she said.
