RBM donates K6.2bn to assist in Covid-19 fight

The Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM ) has today released K6.2bn to the Malawi government to assist in the fight against the spread of Covid-19.
RBM announced this during a press briefing in Lilongwe. Co-chairperson of the Presidential Task force on Covid-19, Dr. John Phuka, says the support is timely.
He says the committee has so far acquired 15 percent of the total budget for the response.
So far, Malawi has registered 70 cases of corona virus with 27 recoveries and 3 deaths.
