The embattled Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Jane Ansah has said the Courts have vindicated the commission that Tipp-Ex was not used to rig elections.
Ansah said this on Thursday in an exclusive interview with the state funded broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).
According to Ansah, both the Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court found that Tipp-Ex was used to correct errors.
“The two courts did not find any rigging evidence in the elections case,” Ansah said.
In the May 21, 2019 elections there was massive use of correctional fluid which is believed was used to manipulate figures.
