Chief Zingwangwa of Zingwangwa in Blantyre has asked the leaders of Tonse Alliance to recognize small Chiefs once the Alliance comes into power.
The Chiefs made the remarks during Tonse Alliance mega rally at Njamba freedom park in Blantyre.
According to the her, Chief Zingwangwa has many communities under him but she is not recognized because she is smaller chief.
She asked for promotion of other Chiefs so that they should be recognized as well.
The Chief asked the Tonse leaders to reconstruct Zingwangwa dam which is the source of income for the people of Zingwangwa through fishing.
She then asked Malawians to unite and ensure peace during campaign period.
Malawi is expected to hold fresh presidential elections in a month time following February 3, 2020 Constitutional Court nullification of May 21, 2019 polls.
