Citizen for Transformation (CFT) leader Timothy Mtambo has invaded Nkhata-Bay to campaign for Tonse Alliance President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera ahead of the fresh Presidential polls scheduled for June 23, 2020.
Mtambo together with Tonse Alliance partners will hold a rally at Nkhata Bay ADMARC grounds just close to where the Democratic Progressive Party and United Democratic Front, DPP/UDF Alliance are holding a rally.
CFT leader Mtambo is conducting whistle-stops before the main rally.
In a related development, Tonse Alliance runningmate Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also President of United Transformation Movement (UTM) is conducting whistle stop tours in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Chilima has since hinted that the Tonse Alliance will win the polls with a landslide.
