Tonse Alliance torchbearer Dr. Lazarus Chakwera who is also President of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) is in Nkhata-Bay campaigning ahead of the fresh Presidential polls.
Chakwera is together with former President Dr. Joyce Banda who is also the founder of the opposition People’s Party (PP).
MCP President held a number of whistle stop at Tukombo ,Kande and Chintheche.
Chakwera will hold a campaign rally at Maganga ground at Nkhata Bay boma.
Meanwhile the National Assembly has proved June 23, 2020 as the day for fresh Presidential polls in the country.
