According to reports, the suspect had lured the unsuspecting victim whom he claimed was his friend, to an apartment.

He had then raped her, filmed the incident and subsequently planned to blackmail her with the footage. It was gathered that after several attempts to blackmail the victim, she summoned courage and alerted security operatives about the situation.

The suspect was subsequently caught and beaten by angry residents and the security officials who already handcuffed him.

In the video that was shared online, the suspect was given resounding slaps as he was asked to give reasons for his sordid actions.

He couldn’t come up with any answers to the questions he was asked. He simply kept mumbling that the lady is his friend.
