The police in Mulanje are keeping in custody two men for allegedly being found in possession of medical equipment worth millions without permit.
District police spokesperson, Gresham Ngwira identifies the two as 35-year-old Master Makapu and 45-year-old Osten Bleki.
They were arrested on Monday at a police checkpoint on the Mulanje-Muloza road in a minibus driving from the direction of Muloza.
Among the equipment found in custody of the two suspects were surgical gloves, vacuum blood collection tubes and medical X-ray boxes.
