Information reaching Faceofmalawi indicates that First Deputy Speaker Madalitso Kazombo is living in fear after letting the National Assembly set June 23, 2020 as a day for the country to hold fresh Presidential polls.

On Tuesday afternoon, Member of Parliament for Mzimba North moved a motion to set date for fresh polls and the motion was seconded by Hon. Ezekiel Peter Ching’oma.

But this did not amuse the MPs from government benches resulting to chaos as some DPP MPs chased the First Deputy Speaker out of the house.

Writing on his official facebook page, Kazombo said unknown people suspected to be DPP cadets want to eliminate his life.

“How can you the whole chief from kasungu be part of the evil team planning to kill your son Kazombo. Kill me, am not afraid. Anayamba ndi Agogo anga Angwazi samaopa. Kill me. But U will not stop or kill the wish of many Malawians. Am not afraid. My kids young as they are God will take care of them. My blood will speak for Malawians even when am in the grave,” wrote Kazombo.

Kazombo also revealed that unknown people sent two drones to his house to spy on him.

The country will hold fresh Presidential polls on June 23, 2020 following a constitutional ruling nullifying the May 21, 2019 Presidential polls.
