Running-mate for Tonse Alliance who is also president for United Transformation Movement (UTM) Saulos Chilima is in Karonga campaigning ahead of fresh presidential elections.

Chilima, who is also the state vice president has started his journey with whistle-stop tours in the district.

He has been accompanied by Peoples Transformation (Petra) president Kamuzu Chirambo, Umodzi Party (UP) and other members in the alliance.

Chilima is expected to hold main rally at Karonga Boma this afternoon.

On June 23, Malawians are expected to go to polls to elect president following nullification of May 21, 2019 presidential elections.
