2 Health Workers Contract Covid-19 as Malawi Registers 9 New Cases

For the past 24 hours Malawi has registered 9 new case as it stands the country has a total of 564 confirmed cases.

Two more health workers one from Blantyre and another from Mzuzu have contracted Covid-19.

This comes after country has registered nine new cases two of whom health workers.

According to Dr. John Phuka co-chairperson of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 the nine new cases are spread across Blantyre, Nkhata-Bay, Mzimba South and Mwanza.

Other new cases are also spread across Mangochi, Mwanza and Machinga.

Recoveries have now moved to 73.

Now, there are 485 active cases and 6 deaths have thus far been recorded.
