The Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 is yet to make its decision on the recommendation that learning institutions re-open next month.
Earlier this month, the Taskforce on the possible reopening of schools gave a recommendation of the said date.
However two weeks down the line the two taskforces are yet to meet for a possible adoption of the recommendation.
After failing to meet last Friday, Chairperson of the Taskforce overlooking re-opening of schools, Lewis Dzimbiri, disclosed that they have now set a new date and may meet this week.
President Peter Mutharika declared the closure of education institutions across the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus that has engulfed lives of people across the world.
