Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR) and the Youth and Society (YAS) have urged Malawians to make vote wisely as we are remaining with a day to vote.
Addressing the news conference on Sunday, June 21, 2020 YAS’ executive director Charles Kajoloweka said that as governance watchdogs is necessary to advise people on voting.
“Malawi is on a critical condition that requires critical decisions to be made in order to change,” That’s why we have come in open to urge Malawian’s on this,he added.
On his remarks, CHRR’s Executive director Micheal Kayiyatsa said after Kenya, Malawi is second to hold fresh elections “which means that it’s time to change”.
Kayiyatsa has also urged security agents Malawi Defence Force (MDF), Malawi police to be professional during the polls.
